I'm hispanic, My hair is actually curly-kinky. I've been going natural for about a year or so.I used to be a slave to the flat ironing thing, but not anymore! And I'm so glad I decided to quit! My hair has been getting more curly and kinky at the same time, but I'm loving it. I think I'm a 3b...or 3c--not sure. Anyways, my hair is really on the drier side so I'm very picky with the products I use for it. My mother bought me the curls unleashed curl defining cream and...WOW! I feel it much more moisturized and it actually defines my curls noticeably! Love this, and it's a great value too!

I am biracial and it is difficult to find products for my type of hair.I have naturally curly hair and have experimented with I don't know how many different products. Many left my hair dry, crunchy, stiff you name it. I used the Curl Defining Creme today and am extremely happy! My curls are soft and manageable and did not draw up I have the long curls I have worked so hard to have. I have been officially natural for 2 months now. I had a twa which has now grown full. I am getting used to the fact of being natural. My hair was an afro (blah) and I wanted curl definition but the products I was using was not giving me what I wanted and I was getting alittle down with this process. I was online just yesterday trying to figure out my hair regimen and what products to use. I picked out the products I felt will work and I went to Walgreens. I was scanning the products in the store and I could not find the product for curl define that I found online. I saw the curls unleashed curl defining creme and I hesitated. I saw that it was for 4s and kinky hair I thought I will give it a try. WOW!!! I am very impressed. I was so excited to see curls while I was twisting my hair last night. I unloose the curls this morning and I saw streched curls and it was shiny. I am so happy this makes my hair journey so much easier. I am not looking no more. Please continue to make this product. I have a combination of kinky-curly hair. More kinks in the back and softer curls in the front, side, and crown. I went to Sally's Beauty Supply last night for eye make-up with the intent of purchasing a new "curly" product designed for kinky hair. The majority of products on the shelf were very greasy and heavy then, I took a small dab of the Curls Unleashed (not greasy at all) plus it was $2 off the price. Twisted my hair last night, applied rods to the ends for added curls, sat under a hooded dryer for approx. 30 min. & air-dried overnight. I finally found a product suited for my hair type. Soft curls with volume. I still add olive oil to my hair in the evening and morning for more moisture but, I am definitely recommending this product to other "natural" beauties!!! More bang for your buck too compared to other products on the market. Next up is the Shampoo and Conditioner. I may pass on the Jelly but, I will also try the Curl Refresher.

I did a braid out and I really do love my results. I bought the entire product line, I've learned that you can't mix and match products, to get the desired look it's best to stick with the line. I bought the product line that was recommended for my curl type. I am really happy to find a product line that finally works for my hair. A little shampoo goes a long way and it made my hair very soft. I only shampoo once or twice a week, and then I co-wash every week. I am glad that the conditioner can be used as a two-in-one (deep conditioner or co-wash). This saves money. The prices are very reasonable. I was disappointed because Sally's did not have the defining creme in stock. That is my reason for giving 4 stars, but overall I am very satisfied. I saw a commercial for Curls Unleashed and decided to try it on my dughter's hair. She has naturally curly hair, but I have not been able to find anything to apply to her hair right out of the shower that maintains her curls once it dries. I used the Curl Creme and Boosting jelly and my daughter's hair is gorgeous. It is soft and bouncy. I will never use another product. Thanks so much!!

This product worked wonders on my 4a/b hair type. Ive never felt compelled to write a review on a product until I found this one. I co-wash and apply to my hair during twisting. I let it air dry and take it out in the morning and its wonderful!! I was trying to get away from eco styler gel and this was the key and my curls are better with this product

I love the Curl Definging Creme Product, I washed my hair and twisted it into small sections using the product that I mention below as I twisted each section and the way that my hair felt and looked as amazing, I will be purchasing the full line for my hair texture.

I picked up your produce on Monday to use on my.tweeny weeny Afro. It leaves my natural hair hard and curls tight. What can I do to soften my hair when using your produce? I can't take it back to the beauty supply store for a refund.

I am in aww of the unleashed moisturizing defining creme! I have been on a wash n go kick which has been unsuccessful until I walked in to my local sally's! No crunchies, flakes, and shine. I will definitely be trying the jelly next!!!

I have been natural for about 3 years and have been looking for a product that would define my curls and moisturize my fine, dry hair. I normally use anywhere from 3-4 styling products each day to achieve the look I want, and I've never been completely happy with my routine. I walked in the store today and saw the creme and hesitantly purchased it. After shampooing and conditioning I decided to take a chance and use the creme alone without my other usual leave-ins. I was amazed with the results! My 3b/3c hair is shiny, not frizzy-and much more stretched than with any other product. I will definitely recommend it to my natural friends!

I used this product for a wash and go style and my hair was so soft and manageable. This product left my hair looking shiny but not greasy or feeling heavy. It does have a white residue when you first apply the product to wet hair that drys with your hair without shrinkage or flakes.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! My hair went from really curly/kinky to semi-curly frizz after I had my baby. These products (I use the leave-in conditioner and the creme) help bring my curls back and make my hair actually look and feel soft. All this with NO frizz!! I have purchased a zillion other products but nothing ever seemed to work, at least until I found these! I loved them so much I went back to the store and bought them out. :) Thank you for making a great product!

Hi! I bought the curl creme and the leave-in conditioner last night. I twisted my hair, let it dry naturally over night, and took it out this morning. My hair feels great! It feels very soft and looks healthy(my hair is usually dry), and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I am going back to get the Curl Boosting Jelly-thank you for creating such a wonderful product-I will tell others about it :-)!

Hi! My hair seems to be between 3C(curly-kinky) and 4A(Kinky). Last night I tried the leave-in conditioner and curl creme. I twisted it and took it out this morning-my hair feels really soft and I've gotten several compliments-I like the products and will be going back for the jelly-thank you, thank you, thank you :-)!

This product is GREAT for twist outs. I used this product last night and sealed it with castor oil. I must say that I am VERY PLEASED with the shine and definition that I received from using this product. It's a thicker (pudding) consistency, which is something that I love because it helps hold the twists together. If you're in the market for a thick styling aid for highly defined twist outs...give this product a try at your local Sally's.

I currently own the Take Command Curl Creme, Curl Boosting Jelly and the Curl Refresher...I must say that I have finally found a product that I am totally happy about. The products mix well together, and my hair looks and feels great. Moisturized, but not greasy. The curls are defined, but not with a crunch like I used to get from gel. My next purchase is going to be the conditioner and shampoo, since it is sulfate free. I have never been one to even care if the shampoo included sulfate or no, but it can't hurt to try.

For a long time I'd been looking for a product that was a cream, that gave me definition without cruchiness or hard hold, moisture and smelled good. I was tired of gels and their after effects. I purchased this product yesterday and was more satisfied than I've ever been in three years! I will definitely try some of the other products in the future but the curling cream will be my staple product! Thanks so much for keeping our curls/kinks gorgeous and most of all, as natural as possible! :0)

I recently did the big chop August 2011. Not so much to "go natural" but just for a fresh start. I maintain my coif by visiting the barber every 2-3 weeks. I have EXTREMELY dry hair and just recently discovered that I am a 4b. I walked into my local drug store on my lunch break, saw this, went back to my desk and did a little research and was intrigued enough to purchase. When my hair was relaxed, I used mainly Organic Roots Stimulator products, so I figured I could trust this. I put it in my hair and unpreparedness curl definition and felt the moisture restored. Though it's only been 1 hour, I had to write a review! Lol. I'll be sure to update in a week it so. Thank you!

Incredible product line!, I'm type 4a/4b, and the results are INCREDIBLE!. I purchased the curl defining creme from Sally's today, along with another curl defining line that launched as well. My hair is incredibly hydrated and defined. I have to say that the natural revolution is in full swing, and is being commercially recognized.I was so excited to see a whole section dedicated to shelf space for so many different brands for natural hair care. I have come to LOVE my natural hair, and am so sad that I didn't get to know it earlier in life. I had no idea that I could rollerset or blow my hair as straight as it has gotten for a sleek look. I will NEVER look back or regret my decision. Your marketing is so on point in stating that "Mother Nature got it RIGHT the first time"!!!!...love that...couldn't be more true.

I was in attendance of the Curls Unleashed Party a couple weeks back and got samples. I have to say that my hair is really dry; I used the creme, twisted my hair, put the jelly on and unraveled the following day with coconut oil.... FABULOUS results for the first time EVER since my BC in 11/2011. For a minute I was regretting BC'ing. My hair felt moist and the curls were very defined. When I inadvertently did the finger shingling in evenly spreading the product in sections, the curls were AWESOME and it was soft! Great product, great price point!
